My name is Danielle Nelson (Danni), and I am the founder of Danni Nelson EarCare™, an independent mobile ear cleansing service based in Hadleigh, Suffolk, proudly covering the surrounding Suffolk villages.
I am professionally trained and accredited in:
I provide professional ear syringing, microsuction and hearing screening treatments in the comfort of your own home, making ear care convenient, calm, and completely stress-free.
With several years of experience working in healthcare, caring for people has always been at the heart of what I do. I understand that ear problems can feel uncomfortable, worrying, and sometimes frustrating — which is why I take a gentle, patient, and reassuring approach with every client. Your comfort, dignity, and safety are always my priority.
Using high-quality, modern ear care equipment, I am able to show you exactly what I see during your treatment, so you feel informed, confident, and fully involved throughout the process. I take time to explain each step clearly, answer any questions, and ensure you feel relaxed and at ease before, during, and after your appointment.
As a local, independent practitioner, I am proud to offer a professional yet personal service you can trust — delivering clinical care with the comfort and reassurance of being treated in your own home.
As part of my commitment to providing complete ear care within the local community, I’m pleased to announce that I will soon be offering professional hearing assessments alongside my mobile ear wax removal service.
I am booked onto BSA-accredited audiometry training in May 2026. Following successful completion, I will be offering hearing tests as part of my service.
As a fully mobile service, I will be able to offer hearing assessments in the comfort of your own home — something many of my clients already value and trust.
This will allow me to provide a more complete service — helping not only with safe and effective wax removal, but also identifying any potential hearing concerns.
If you would like to be among the first to book a hearing test once available, please get in touch to join the waiting list.

Common Symptoms of Impacted Earwax
Impacted earwax can cause a range of symptoms, but it’s important to remember these signs are not exclusive to earwax buildup — other ear or hearing issues may feel similar.
If these symptoms don’t improve, keep coming back, or get worse, it’s best to have your ears checked by a professional. An ear assessment is quick and simple — it helps confirm whether wax buildup is the cause and what can be done to clear it safely.

While we always aim to remove ear wax safely in a single appointment, this isn’t always possible. Hard or impacted wax, wax positioned close to the eardrum, sensitive ear canals, or long-standing build-up may need to be removed gradually to avoid discomfort or injury.
Your safety and ear health are always the priority. For this reason, I offer one set fee, which includes up to three visits if required. If additional visits are needed beyond this, you will not be charged the full fee again.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Microsuction is a safe and effective method of removing ear wax using gentle suction and specialised equipment. The procedure is carried out under direct vision, meaning I can clearly see inside the ear throughout the treatment.
It is widely considered the gold-standard method of ear wax removal.
Ear syringing (also known as irrigation) uses a controlled flow of warm water to gently flush wax from the ear canal.
While it has been used for many years, it may not be suitable for everyone and is only offered where clinically appropriate.
Microsuction is generally the preferred method because:
However, in some cases, ear syringing may still be an appropriate option. During your appointment, I will assess your ears and recommend the safest and most effective treatment for you.
Most people find microsuction comfortable. You may hear some suction noise during the procedure, but it is usually quick and well tolerated.
If you feel any discomfort, the treatment can be paused immediately.
When carried out correctly and on suitable patients, ear syringing can be safe and effective. However, it is not recommended for everyone — particularly those with certain ear conditions or a history of ear surgery.
Your safety is always the priority, and I will advise you honestly on the best option.
You don’t need to decide beforehand. I will assess your ears at your appointment and explain which method is most suitable.
My aim is always to provide safe, professional ear care tailored to you.
A hearing screening is a simple, quick, and non-invasive test used to check how well you are hearing. It helps to identify any potential hearing difficulties and determine whether further assessment may be needed.
During the screening, you will wear headphones and listen to a series of tones at different volumes and pitches. You will be asked to respond when you hear each sound. The results provide an overview of your hearing levels.
Hearing screening is not a full diagnostic test, but it is an effective way to detect early signs of hearing loss or changes in your hearing.
This service will be offered in the comfort of your own home, alongside my ear care treatments, providing a convenient and professional way to look after your hearing health.
